I'm not sure if you're aware of this site, but it's a great incentive to get you writing at least 750 words a day. You can find the site at www.750words.com (does what it says on the tin).
It's based on Julia Cameron's book "The Artist's Way" in which she encourages you to write daily pages.The premise is that if you write a few pages each morning you will empty your head of all that stuff careening around in there and this will then free you up to write the more creative aspects. In addition, it helps with the discipline of writing every day.
The guy who created the site, Buster Benson has made the site a lot of fun to use. You get badges if you achieve certain writing achievements, you can sign up to his monthly challenge - a bit like Nanowrimo only this time the commitment is to write 750 words every day for a month and you can check out fellow writers. In addition, the site analyses your writing and gives you some interesting stats to reflect on.
